It’s TRUE. We have discontinued the honey used on our boba balls at all of our stores as of 2022. Our Boba Balls will now be soaked in our House-made Brown Sugar Molasses Marinade. While there’s some controversy on whether “honey” is vegan or not. We want to make sure that everyone and anyone can taste of our balls. Whether you’re a vegan, a person who’s allergic, or just hate the taste of honey. You can now suck our Boba. 

LET’S TALK STRAWS.

As of 2022, all California stores will be using 100% Bamboo Fiber Straws. The benefits of this straw is that it has same suction but better than soggy paper straws. We all want to do better for the environment. That’s why we chose Bamboo Fiber Straws. Unlike like Plant Based Plastic, Bamboo Fiber Straws can biodegrade, marine biodegrade, & decompose in any natural environment within weeks. Plant Based Plastics (PLA) do not break down naturally and do not break down in marine environments. It needs special places like high temp composting stations which very few cities have.

What is Marine Biogradable? Well, it’s the ability to break down naturally into the environment without causing harm or leaving any trace of it. It just becomes part of the environment. Bamboo Fiber Straws can break down with weeks to a couple months. So Bamboo Straws It Is!!! 

LET’S TALK CUPS.

The environment is very important to us. That’s why we will be using less plastic in our cups while maintaining the same quality. We want to lessen our carbon footprint and plastic use. Our plastic cups can be fully recycled. The reason is simple. Papers cups which have plastic lining in them & Plant Based Plastics (PLA) which cannot be recycled the same way because it will contaminate the recycling process & does not break down naturally similarly like regular plain plastic.
